Dieses Modell erfahrt aufgrund neuerer Erkenntnisse und Entwicklungen auf dem Gebiet der Reaktortheorie und der Thermohydraulik sowie aufgrund der Anforderungen durch den Reaktorbetrieb und der Modifikationen der Rechenanlage eine standige Verbesserung und Erweiterung hinsichtlich Theorie und Handhabung. In diesem Sinne stellt der AVR-Reaktor mit seiner Fulle von Meßdaten auch eine ideale Teststrecke zur Verifizierung der hier vorgestellten Rechenprogramme dar.
