R-matrix bounds for local potentials
Description
The continuum form of the Hellmann-Feynman theorem is proved, both on and off the energy shell, for potentials satisfying integral sign0sup(A)r|V(r)|dr<infinity and integral signsub(A)sup(infinity)|V(r)|dr<infinity. The corresponding bounds for the phase shifts and off-shell amplitudes are deduced. (author)
