Description

Swelling of copper base dispersion-strengthened alloys MAGT-0.05 and MAGT-0.2 have been studied. Samples were irradiated by 3 MeV Ar+ ions up to 200 dpa and He+ ion up to 500 appm concentration. After He ion irradiation the samples were annealed for an hour at 650 C. Voids and helium bubbles in MAGT-0.2 were not found. MAGT-0.05 swells, however, its tendency to swelling is substantially less then that of copper. The microstructural changes of copper alloys has been analyzed
