Parametric resonance in a proton linear accelerator
Description
The results of experimental studies on parametric resonance in the 1-2 linear accelerator are collected. A parametric oscillation of the transverse waves of particles in the accelerator was discovered from the decreased phase density of the current of the accelerator-proton beam. Experimental data were obtained on decrease in frequency of waves of particles in the accelerator with increase in the beam current
