Experimental and theoretical investigations of the charge and excitation states formation processes of low energy atomic and molecular particles outgoing the solid surface. Progress report for 1995/11/15-1998/11/14

  • 1. Arifov Institute of Electronics, Uzbek Academy of Sciences (Uzbekistan)

Description

Experimental investigations conducted in the framework of the project in the Institute of Electronics during 1995-1998 dealt with a series of inelastic processes that occur during a bombardment of solid surface by low energy particles. A theoretic analysis of interaction processes of slow hydrogen molecules and multicharged ions with metal surfaces has been conducted. Studies related to an understanding of mechanisms of charged states formation of hyperthermal scattered and sputtered atoms have been performed as well. A brief description of the essential obtained results is given
