The present paper discusses a kaon factory based on a ring cyclotron for proton energy approximately 4.2 GeV and average beam current 100 to 500 μA, for which the 800 MeV cyclotron being developed in Dubna (average beam current 1 to 100 mA) will serve as the injector. (auth)
