Wavelet edge detection in one-dimensional imaging diagnostics for planar wire array Z-pinch

Description
The scale-fusion wavelet edge detection algorithm is brought forward in dealing with streak camera images of planar wire array Z-pinch on 'Qiangguang-Ⅰ facility', and parameters of the algorithm that may influence the edge detection effect are analyzed. The proposed algorithm has the advantages of multi-scale edge detection methods with both small and big scale parameters, and the edge derived are smoother than those obtained from median values of grayscales, and are less sensitive to noise.
