237 Np fission cross section for the neutron energy up to En≤ 500 eV

Description

Measurements of the fission cross section of 237 Np up to the neutron energy of 500 eV were performed by using a time-of-flight method. The JINR IBR-30 booster was used as a pulse neutron source. The σf values for the resonance clusters obtained in this work are consistent with the Kyoto University (J P) data and are 3 times larger than the Saclay (F R) data. On the other hand our σf values for inter cluster regions are the same as those measured in Saclay. (author.). 8 refs.; 1 fig.; 1 tab
