The war in Ukraine has precipitated a change in energy flow: a move from land-based gas pipelines to LNG shipped by sea. The Mediterranean is once again becoming a focal point for hydrocarbons, hence an increased need for securing this highly coveted sea area. (author)

La guerre en Ukraine a engendre une modification des flux energetiques au detriment des gazoducs terrestres avec le recours au Gaz naturel liquefie (GNL) et a la voie maritime pour son transport. De fait, la Mediterranee redevient une plaque centrale pour les hydrocarbures, d'ou un besoin accru de securisation de cet espace maritime tres convoite. (auteur)Additional details
