Cross sections from tree-level gravitational scattering from a non-minimally coupled scalar field
Description
The differential cross sections are found for the gravitational scattering of a scalar field with arbitrary RΦ2 coupling from (i) a non-identical scalar for an Einstein plus curvature-squared theory, (ii) a Dirac spinor for Einstein gravity and (iii) Proca and Maxwell fields for Einstein gravity. The unpolarised differential cross sections for the Proca and Maxwell cases do not coincide in the limit of negligible Proca mass. (author)
