Integral relations in potential-scattering theory and influence of final-state interaction on two-particle correlations

  • 1. Joint Institute for Nuclear Research

Description

In potential-scattering theory, volume integrals of expressions that contain the squared modulus of the continuous-spectrum wave function psi/sup(+)/sub k/(r) are related to the scattering amplitude and its derivative with respect to the wave number. Application of these relations to analysis of the influence of the final-state interaction on two-particle correlations in multiple production of hadrons is discussed
