Description
Diploid (2n=14) and tetraploid (2n=4x=28) Phlox drummondii were studied for radiation induced chromosomal aberrations in root tips mitosis. It was observed that chromosomes of both the cytotypes were affected by the gamma radiation and produced almost all kinds of aberrations. Various aberrations were recorded, categorized and interpreted in detail. (author)
