Report of the planning and acting network for low dose radiation research infrastructure management committee

As six years have passed since the establishment of the Planning and Acting Network for Low Dose Radiation Research Infrastructure Management Committee, this report summarizes the committee's past activities. It also investigates and compiles the latest trends from international organizations and institutions regarding research on the effects of low-dose radiation. Additionally, it examines the research topics proposed by these entities. In order to reflect these findings in the next main recommendations of the International Commission on Radiological Protection (ICRP), the report outlines research topics and issues related to the risk assessment of low-dose and low-dose-rate radiation that should be prioritized in Japan in the future. Furthermore, the report proposes the establishment of three working groups within the committee as sub-organizations to specifically address the most important aspects of these research topics.
