Oscillographic method of pulse rise time measurement of subnanosecond laser pulses with high power difference

Description
A two-pulse oscillographic method applied for determination of front shape of smoothly increasing laser pulses with power difference up to 10-9 is described. The effect of instability of the oscillograph start-up for time resolution is removed, and reliability of front profile registration as compared with the known methods increased. The detecting device comprises the FK-2 photoelement and the S7-15 oscillograph. Accuracy of time measurement made up 0.15 ns
