Description
With the aspect of their usefulness, the approach to analysis of nuclear power plant is caused by the consideration of its components reliability, a like in safety approach. This paper presents the methodology of determination of components and systems reliability, their contribution to plant availability and plant availability on the basis of failure component statistics in definite periods. This analysis shows main causes of decreasing plant availability and the need to increase efforts to improve component operating reliability. (author)
