Testing quark charged currents in neutrino experiments

Possible Bjorken scaling violations due to new quark production and non-exact quark freedom, in neutrino charged current experiments are investigated. Heavy quark mass effects are taken into account. Various weak current quark models are compared with HPWF collaboration data. Present results on anti γ high y anomaly are better explained if b quark production via right-handed currents (with 5 GeV <= 7 GeV) is assumed, but more precise tests must be done in order to be definite. Neutrino results give severe constraints on ther right-handed currents. Concerning same-sign dimuon events a natural mechanism which takes place in the vector-like model is discussed. Whatever quark model is considered, present data show evidence for scaling violations due to non-exact quark freedom. (Auth.)
