EdF looks to a completely closed fuel cycle using repu and mox

The economic advantages of the immediate reprocessing of uranium have been demonstrated by Cogema. EdF has therefore opted for a completely closed fuel cycle using mixed oxide fuel and reprocessed uranium for its CP1 type PWR reactors. The fuel cycle is summarised. (UK)
