Survey on radiotherapy practices

Description

Based on the analysis of medical files of patients who ended their radiotherapy between the 1 of September and the 1 of September 2008, and on information extracted from an investigation of quality in centres of struggle against cancer, this survey gives a photography of the national situation of radiotherapy practices in France. Different aspects (prerequisite, treatment plan, dosimeter file, treatment, end-of-treatment file) and indicators (in vivo dosimetry, monitoring of doses to critical organs, double computation of monitor units, morbidity assessment, validation of patient position by the doctor once a week) are analysed
