Treatment results in malignant bone tumor in children

Description
Results of 110 osteosarcoma and 84 Ewing's sarcoma patients treated in the Clinical Department of Pediatric Oncology of The National Research Institute of Mother and Child in Warsaw, in the period of 1962-1991, are presented. The population was divided into 3 groups according to the intensity of treatment modalities. Improvement of the cure rate in osteosarcoma (from 4.3% to 41.3%) is shown. (author)
