Energy dependence of inclusive spectra in multiperipheral model and clusters
Description
The multiperipheral equation for the inclusive spectra is used to show that the experimentally observed energy dependence of the inclusive spectra in both the pionization region and the fragmentation region can be explained if cluster production is possible in the blocks of the multiperipheral diagram. Two different models for the clusters are studied: clusters with a ''flat'' spectrum which expands logarithmically with energy, and statistical clusters. The problem of rapid scaling is interpreted as a consequence of a partial cancellation of the contributions from diagrams involving resonance and cluster production
