Description

The conjecture of a possible narrow D-wave resonance of the ΩΩ̄ system is extended to general baryon-antibaryon systems. On the basis of the well-known NN forces one finds that BB̄ systems bound by pion forces are more likely to produce narrow resonances. In particular one may expect narrow resonances below the NN̄, ΛΛ̄, and perhaps even the ΞΞ thresholds. A narrow BB̄ resonance may serve in a second step (similar to the α particle) to explain the narrow ψ and ψ′.
