Thermo-emf and electric resistance temperature dependences for liquid and solid praseodymium and neodymium
Description
Results are presented of experimental investigation of praseodymium and neodymium thermo-emf and electric resistance in the 800 to 1450 K temperature range. It has been found that at temperatures of polymorphous transformation and melting points the electric resistance jumps for both metals are approximately the same, while during melting the thermo-emf changes much less than during polymorphous transformation. This testifies to the similarity of electronic structure of these metals both in solid and liquid phases rear the melting point
