Description
Isothermal burst tests on Zircaloy-4-cladding were initiated at temperatures of 8000C and 9000C. At times of exposure of 30 sec, i.e. high deformation rates at 9000C and an internal pressure of 35 [kp/cm2], circumferential strains of 80% were obtained. (orig.)

Isotherme Innendruckversuche (Druckmedium: intertes Gas) an Zircaloy-4-Huellrohren wurden im Temperaturbereich von 8000C und 9000C in Vakuum begonnen. Dabei wurden bei einer Temperatur von 9000C, einem Innendruck von 35 kp/cm2 und bei sehr kleinen Standzeiten, d.h. grossen Verformungsgeschwindigkeiten, Umfangsdehnungen von ueber 80% erreicht.
