Decomposition yields of the functional groups in gamma-radiolysis of the potassium and N,N'-dibenzylethylenediamine salts of benzylpenicillin in solid state

The yields of particular groups in the potassium of benzylpenicillin and benzatine penicillin were determined by the NMR method. The total yields of groups are in agreement with the total radiation decomposition yields of the penicillin molecules, as determined by the spectrophotometric, polarimetric and iodometric methods.
