The process 3He+p→4He+π+ on the polarized hydrogen as an analyzer of the 3He polarization

Description

The cross-section dependence of the process 3He+p→4He+π+ on the 3He and proton polarization vectors is investigated. It is shown that the reaction p(3He, 4He)π+ on the polarized hydrogen target can be used for measuring 3He polarization. 8 refs
