Financial regulation is often seen as a way of stabilizing a system whose malfunctions are always likely to affect the real economy. In this note, the author shows that such regulation is also beneficial to the financing of the ecological transition, itself being the start of a potential new growth regime

La regulation de la finance est souvent pensee pour ses vertus de stabilisation d'un systeme dont les dysfonctionnements sont toujours susceptibles d'affecter en retour l'economie reelle. Dans cette note, l'auteur montre que cette regulation est egalement profitable au financement de la transition ecologique, elle-meme amorce d'un potentiel nouveau regime de croissance
