Pion-condensation and short-range correlation in nuclei
Description
Matrix elements between T = 1,0- states of 16O are calculated using (1) full OPEP and two-body wave functions, (2) OPEP without delta term and uncorrelated wave functions, and (3) full OPEP and correlated two-body wave functions. Results rule out the possibility of pion condensation at normal nuclear matter density
