Description

Eighteen contributions from different scientific disciplines - history, German studies, art history, media studies, education and sociology - explore the situation of children who were confronted with the effects of nuclear technology in the 20th and 21st century. Topics include the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings, the Chernobyl reactor disaster as well as the Fukushima GAU on March 11, 2011. These research analyses, under the motto "Children and Atom", are intended to form the basis for a global history of the nuclear still to be written.
