Description
High-energy e-γ-irradiation has been studied for its effect on crack-resistance of RPV steel 15Kh2MFA. The brittle ductile transition temperature shift value characterizing the material tendency to low-temperature radiation embrittlement is determined. The results obtained permit a conclusion on a possible use of e-γ-beams to analyse crack-resistance of RPV steels to select materials for the subsequent reactor tests
