Nanosecond device for starting megavolt peaker spark gaps

Description
Device for starting trigatron peaker spark gaps of megavolt range, forming pulses on control electrode with amplitude up to 300 kV, front <10 ns and duration before pulse half width 70 ns. The device contains the GIN-200 high-voltage pulse generatory with pulse transformer, differential circuit, separation resistor and cable transmission lines. The device minimum operation time equals 150±10 ns at feed pulse with the pulse rise time up to the amplitude value of 0.3+0.5μs
