Emissivity of iodide and industrial titanium in the temperature range of 1100-1900 K

Description

Results of investigation into the integral hemispheric emissivity of industrial titanium VT-1-00 and titanium iodide in the temperature range of 1100-1900 K including the polymorphic transformation are given. Change in the hemispheric emissivity of titanium iodide at the point of the polymorphic transformation at 1165 K is noted. The most probable values of integral hemispheric emissivity of industrial titanium and titanium iodide are suggested. Titanium iodide has a less emissivity as compared with industrial titanium. Limiting relative error of experiments is evaluated as +-2.5%
