Fine structure excitation of carbon and oxygen by atomic hydrogen impact

Description
Fine structure excitation cross-sections are calculated for C and O ground state atoms perturbed by atomic hydrogen in a close coupling quantal treatment. Results for C are compared with the elastic results of Yau and Dalgarno (1976), the same interatomic potentials being used. (orig.)

Feinstruktur-Anregungswirkungsquerschnitte werden fuer die Grundzustaende von Kohlenstoff und Sauerstoff, die durch atomaren Wasserstoff gestoert sind, fuer den Fall enger Kopplung berechnet. Die Ergebnisse fuer C werden mit der elastischen Rechnung von Yau und Dalgarno (1976) verglichen; dabei wurde dasselbe interatomare Potential verwendet. (orig.)Additional details
