Compton cross-sections of molybdenum
Description
The incoherent scattering functions (bound to free electron cross-section ratios) for 137Cs 662 keV γ-rays, scattered from K-shell electrons of molybdenum are reported. The studies are carried out at scattering angles (θ) in the range from 150 to 1680 and the results are compared with those of zirconium using 137Cs 662 keV γ-rays and with theoretical values. The differential Compton cross-section as a function of θ is given and discussed
