Description
A perturbation routine has been programmed to accompany the HEXNODYN nodal 3-D dynamic diffusion-transport program and its accuracy partially checked. It gives good agreement with direct k-differences from HEXNOD for region-wise perturbations, but some significant differences from a set of worth curves generated for a Europe reactor accident analysis benchmark. The main new feature of the perturbation model is that it treats the nodes' internal flux, adjoint and gradient scalar products rather than just the nodally averaged quantities. Use of the internal moments of the fluxes and adjoints is a feature necessary for good accuracy
