Description
This note is a description of a software designed to edit texts with an AGFA P400 laser printer following acquisition through the text editing program MATHOR (issued by the company NOVEDIT), which is more especially adapted for the acquisition of mathematical texts. The specific problems are related to the requirement of a widely extended character set and the setting of mathematical formulae in space. The methods used are presented hereafter together with the general writing techniques. A description of the various modules is also given. Data files are provided for the selection of operating parameter values, thereby enabling the user to tailor the code to his own requirements. (authors)
Abstract (French)
On decrit un logiciel permettant d'effectuer des sorties sur l'imprimante laser AGFA P400 a partir de textes saisis avec le logiciel de traitement de texte MATHOR (societe NOVEDIT), plus particulierement oriente vers la saisie de textes mathematiques. Les problemes specifiques sont lies a la necessite de disposer d'un jeu tres etendu de caracteres et a la composition dans l'espace des formules mathematiques. Nous presentons la methodologie qui a ete utilisee, les techniques generales d'ecriture et nous decrivons les differents modules. La description des fichiers de donnees qui sont utilises pour fixer les valeurs des parametres d'execution permettent de personnaliser l'utilisation du code. (auteurs)Files
