Description

Charge transfer cross sections for C2+ + He collisions are calculated in the range of impact energies 1 ≤ E ≤ 40 keV employing a molecular expansion and an impact parameter formalism. The results are compared with available experimental data and the mechanisms of the charge transfer processes are discussed. (author)
