Gamma dose discrimination properties of SSNT detectors
- 1. Thessaloniki Univ. (Greece)
Description
Gamma dose discrimination properties for some plastics used as track detectors was studied. The experiment was made with Macrofol E polycarbonate, cellulose nitrate (CA-8015 and CN-85) and CR-39. The response of these detectors to various gamma doses was examined; especially for relatively low doses. The relation between dose discrimination limits and registration properties is presented.
