Status and prospects of nuclear energy in China
Description
To guarantee continuous and stable economic growth in China, it is imperative to extensively conserve energy and to substitute environmentally-friendly power generation to reduce coal burning. In the commissioning phase is the Chinese designed 300-MW Qinshan (PWR). The Guangdong Daya Bay NPP (2X900 MWe) will be connected to the grid in 1992/3
