Field splitting of collective modes in 3He-B and coupling strengths to sound and NMR

Description
The 18 order parameter collective modes in 3He-B are classified in terms of total angular momentum J = 0,1,2 and Jsub(Z). The linear splitting with magnetic field of the J = 2 multiplets and J = 1 multiplets is calculated for all temperatures. The coupling of the collective modes to sound and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) is determined by taking into account particle-hole asymmetry and dipole interaction, respectively. (orig.)
