Description
Neutral beam injection is reliable heating tool for nuclear fusion plasma. However, beam power of negative ion base injector cannot be estimated in advance, since ratio of negative ion density to electron one in ion source chamber is still an open question. In this work, shine-through power onto armer plate of beam line is monitored with calorimetric method. Fast response thermocouple data is analyzed with pulse decomposition method. By combining estimation of beam power deposited in plasma, current calorimeter system would be promising monitor for NBI efficiency of future fusion reactor. (author)
