Nature of bonding in mercury cuprate high-temperature superconductors
Description
A number of nitrogen adducts of mercury-containing high-temperature copper oxide superconductors were synthesized and investigated by differential thermal and thermogravimetric analyses as well as resistivity over a broad temperature range. The results obtained with this compound are compared to those previously reported for YBCO. The critical temperature is examined for each of the complexes formed. Thermodynamic properties based on the DSC and TGA curves are presented. The behavior of the individual copper complexes was compared to that of the ceramic superconductor adducts
