Description
Experience is described with two high-temperature on-line water chemistry systems installed in the Loviisa nuclear power plant. The systems measure pH, conductivity and redox potential. They are complete with automatic data collection and processing units. The systems design is described in some detail. The operation of the systems was shown to be reliable, offering better possibilities of controlling water chemistry aimed at reducing crud deposition on the fuel, slowing down the build-up of radiation fields on pipes, steam generators, etc. (L.O.). 11 figs., 3 refs
