Adsorption and emission properties of thermionic converter collectors with mass transfer in the interelectrode gap
Creators
Description
The emitter substance mass transfer to the collector in the thermionic converters and its influence on the collector properties are investigated. Tungsten chloride of gaseous deposition were used as emitters. Polycrystalline molybdenum, niobium and lanthanum hexaboride were applied as collectors. Deposit element composition was determined by the Auger spectroscopy method with by-layer surface etching. Tungsten, oxygen, carbon and cesium are the main mass transfer components
