Interferences and methods for their elimination in the determination of lanthanum as LaO by laser-enhanced molecular flame ionization spectrometry

Description
Interfering effects of some elements on the determination of lanthanum as LaO in natural gas-air flame by laser-enhanced, molecular ionization spectrometry were studied. It was demonstrated that easily ionized elements (Li, K, Na and Mg) exert ionization effect; in addition, sodium introduces spectral interference. The effect of indium is the same by character as sodium effect. Techniques were proposed for the elimination of these interfering effects. The elimination of the ionization interferences was conducted by 10-divisible dissolving of the investigated solutions by 0.1 M HCl

Изучены мешающие влияния ряда элементов на определение лантана в виде LaO в пламени природный газ-воздух методом лазерно-индуцированной молекулярно-ионизационной спектрометрии. Показано, что легкоионизируемые элементы (Li, K, Na, Mg) оказывают ионизационное влияние, кроме того, натрий вносит еще и спектральную помеху. Влияние индия по характеру схоже с влиянием натрия. Предложены способы устранения этих мешающих влияний. Устранение ионизационных помех проводили путем 10-кратного разбавления исследуемых растворов 0.1 М HClAdditional details
