Description

The milk and dairy products are hygienically very sensitive goods. In this article the protection effectiveness and cleaning possibilities of individual milk and dairy products packaging are considered, using a novel radioisotope tracer technique developed by the author. The packaging means used in milk and dairy industry are compared, their protection capacity and cleanability degrees are evaluated by the new method. The reasons of differences originating mainly from different shapes of packaging and from misuse are analyzed. Proposals for introducing simpler forms of packaging are suggested. (P.J.)
