Description

APROS (Advanced PROcess Simulator) is the computer simulation system for process and automation system design, evaluation, and testing developed in the Process Simulator project of Imatran Voima Oy (IVO) and Technical Research Centre of Finland (VTT) during the years 1986-1988. In the nuclear field the APROS can be used as a plant analyser both for safety related and performance studies. For these applications the system requires the general features like executive system, mathematical solution routines and graphics. The nuclear plant specific models include reactor core model, thermohydraulics and heat transfer correlations. The basic automation system is also included
