Towards immunoassays of greater sensitivity, specificity and speed: an overview
Description
The broad principles governing analytical measurement have been discussed. The conclusion is reached that it is in the context of labelled antibody techniques that the benefits of hybridoma methodology and of non-isotopic labels of high specific activity must be sought. The potential advantages of high specific activity labels in the context of the newly-developed methods of free hormone measurement are also briefly discussed. (Auth.)
