Description
The first regular inspection of No.2 plant in Fukushima No.2 Nuclear Power Station was carried out from January 20 to May 17, 1985. The parallel operation was resumed on April 17, 1985, 88 days after the parallel off. The facilities as the object of inspection were the reactor proper, reactor cooling system, measurement and control system, fuel facilities, radiation control facilities, waste facilities, reactor containment installation and emergency power generation system. On these facilities as the object of inspection, the appearance, disassembling, leak, functional, performance and other inspections were carried out, and as the results, abnormality was not found except that of the unit pilot valves for controlling main steam valves. The abnormal poppet seals for the unit pilot valves were exchanged. The works related to this regular inspection were accomplished within the range of allowable radiation dose based on the relevant laws.
