Feasibility study of a compact detector for e+e- colliding beam experiments at TRISTAN accumulator ring

  • 1. National Lab. for High Energy Physics, Oho, Ibaraki (Japan)

Description

Interesting physics goals at AR experiments are briefly discussed with emphasis on B anti B mixing and CP Violation. With compactness and high capability for physics research as a guideline, a detector design is presented with characteristic features of precision EM calorimeter with full segmentation in both transverse and longitudinal directions, good lepton/hadron separation, π deg/γ separation, and good K/π separation based on precision TOF measurement.
