Electrochemical properties and quantum chemical calculations of ylides of phosphorus, aminofulvenes and their complexes with transition metal carbonyls

Description

Electrochemical behaviour of a number of compounds with ylide-betaine structure, aminofulvenes and their complexes with transition metal carbonyls among them, are studied. The easiness of electrochemical oxidation of studied substances in comparison with their reduction is shown; wave nature is interpreted; relative stability of radical-cation and - anion, formed in electrode processes, is studied. Existence of radical-ion complexes of aminofulvenes with chromium, molybdenum, tungsten carbonyls is confirmed by ESR method
